Get Out and Vote

I was going to post something different tomorrow, but the post will have to wait until next week. This week has been completely full.

Tomorrow, my wife, son, and I will be working as Federal election officials at an advance poll in our town. It makes for very long days, but we like it.

As a Christian, I believe in being political. I’m just not into being partisan. Jesus was political without being partisan. So working the election as an official is perfect. I get to be there for others, helping meet their needs. That seems fitting.

Please get out and vote. If you’re not sure which candidate to choose, do some research. Still can’t decide? Too bad. Figure it out. Voting is a privilege that is not to be taken lightly, especially for Christians.
